On Tour @ Fleuramour

Last weekend, from 21 to 24 September, we decided to go to Fleuramour; a special event at the Alden Biesen estate in Bilzen, Belgium. Fleuramour is organized by publisher Rekad Produkties, who is also responsible for beautiful publications such as Fleur Magazine.

During Fleuramour, the Alden Biesen estate, which in itself is a beautiful estate, is transformed into a floral fairytale without equal. With the help of more than 100 international arrangers and 140,000 flowers, the entire estate is immersed in the most fantastic floral creations. Everywhere you look, both the outside areas and all the spaces in the castle and in the buildings around it, there is so much to admire. You will hardly be able to take it all in. We have been walking around and were awestruck with everything we saw. Naturally we’ve taken far too many pictures. Some of them we’ve already posted on Facebook.

In the course of the weekend about 12,500 visitors came to Bilzen to admire all that beauty; naturally all people with a special love for flowers. So it seemed like a good idea to introduce as many of these people as possible to Florapodium. We spoke to lots of people and told them all about Florapodium. Hopefully we will be able to welcome many new friends after this weekend!
