FloraPodium, Barendsen and IFN have worked together during the exhibition week to create a fantastic wedding theme. For three days, several brides set off with "groom-for-a-day" Jan de Boer to find the most beautiful and exclusive wedding flowers at the Trade Fair and IFTF. We have had the most enthusiastic reactions and frankly had a lot of fun with our own team and all the people who helped us do this. But in addition to the laughter and good fun, there was a very serious message behind this crazy stunt.

Exporter Gebr. Barendsen B.V. in Aalsmeer is known for delivering custom work. IFN nowadays also offers a niche stream with products of exclusive value. FloraPodium is there to connect, inspire and surprise professional specialists by showcasing exclusive and special floricultural products. People get married all year round and on this special day everything has to look tip top, with flowers giving the necessary addiotional value. Customization and specialization with special products is needed to accommodate people on this special day. So the three companies found each other in this theme!

Three brides (a different one each day) with one groom set off to draw attention to special flowers. Together they were "looking" for bridal flowers. The wedding cake was cut at 3 pm on Thursday 7 November at the FloraPodium. The electric car was staged at our house show and the greenhouse on the roof was beautifully decorated for the occasion. And we were very happy to welcome lots of visitors this week!

Bridal fashion from Aalsmeer for lending three beautiful wedding dresses with which our brides could shine at the fair. And for getting in touch with Madelein Cramer-Albert from Plus Belle Wedding Planner who was a radiant first bride. The FloraPodium was decorated with beautiful dresses and hoops from Trouw!. Naturally a bride needs a well-dressed groom! That is why we would also like to thank Gentlemen’s Place from Aalsmeer for providing a beautiful wedding suit.

Thanks also to the owners of the Carice and the Tiny Hummer for lending us these fantastic electric cars (yes, they were both electric!!). The Carice was the center of attention under the FloraPodium stage and the Tiny Hummer took care of transporting the wedding couple. Thank you Kade 1 Style & Support for decoration the reception area at Barendsen and Marianne Scholten from Scholten Support for organizing the "cake" moment with a delicious wedding cake from Bakery Vooges!

Last but certainly not least, our decoration would not have been complete without flowers. Many growers have supplied the most beautiful flowers, which we used to style the stage in a wedding theme with flowers.
