Inspiration Page
We try to give you a small glimpse into the world of Wedding and Events flowers in different ways; for instance by highlighting a special product that we think is particularly suitable for events, but also by offering interesting facts and news, but most of all by including photos of flower arrangements and decorations for inspiration. Have you seen or made something special and would you like to share it with us? Then send your photos to:
'Mellow Yellow'
Last month, the new 365 Days of Flowers magazine was published. One of the themes in this edition is "Mellow Yellow". Smell the spring, reap the summer and share the fall! The color yellow is a somewhat underappreciated color with many florists, while it is actually a fantastic color that suits different seasons.
Color coach Ellen Venema is very happy with the color yellow and told us why this color is so important; “Yellow is the color of the sun and provides warmth. Yellow is an earthy and active color that gets you moving.”
The color yellow stands for "who am I"? Someone who has a lot of yellow in the wardrobe is often someone who is curious and optimistic about life. A satisfied person, interested in science and often with a clear purpose in life. These people are stimulating to others, they are generally very involved and radiate positive energy.
The color does not only have a meaning in clothing. The color yellow also has an active, positive influence in your surroundings. The color yellow is cheerful and gives off a certain energy that stimulates you to achieve your goal. For example, if you are studying or if you are doing something else that requires you to concentrate well, the color yellow around you, such as a bunch of yellow flowers, will help you to keep your focus.
Do you know someone who is looking for focus or do you know someone who literally and figuratively needs a little more sun in their life? A bunch of yellow energy works wonders!
Do you have an aversion to yellow? There is a message in it if you don't like yellow flowers. Give it a try and who knows you might discover a new different side of yourself!
