We try to give you a small glimpse into the world of Wedding and Events flowers in different ways; for instance by highlighting a special product that we think is particularly suitable for events, but also by offering interesting facts and news, but most of all by including photos of flower arrangements and decorations for inspiration. Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants was founded in 1938 by Jochem Vreugdenhil Sr. He grew different types of vegetables, grapes and tulips and was one of the first to grow Amaryllis (1960s). The company is currently managed by his grandson Jochem Vreugdenhil and the company has grown into one of the larger companies of its kind. Various products are grown year-round under approximately 120,000 m2 of glass spread over 3 locations in the Westland.

By working together you can achieve much more. That is why Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants has been a member of Decorum since the year 2000 and they work together with various growers under the quality brand Decorum. In addition, they also sell a number of products from growers such as: Calocephalus, Scilla, Ornithogalum Thyrsoides, Canna, Ranunculus and Echeveria setosa. They have also been a partner of Greencre8 since 2012, with whom they have co-developed No Water Flowers®, among other things.

No Water Flowers

There are various variants of the No Water Flowers® available and more are added every year! For example, last year the grower also introduced the Fashionz varieties, wax balls with a decorative (Christmas) jacket! Thanks to the various colors of wax, they fit into any interior. All varieties grow for 3 to 6 weeks. Thanks to the unique support, the wax Amaryllis bulb can be placed anywhere and is always stable. The No Water Flowers® are fun to give and nice to have!

Artooz

The Artooz line originated from a collaboration between No Water Flowers® and the quality brand Decorum. This special line is characterized by its extremely large bulb size. Instead of a size of 32 cm, the Artooz bulbs have a size of no less than 36 cm! Since last year, the Artooz "Earth Copper" and the Artooz "Earth Black" have been on the market. This year the Artooz "Earth Red" was introduced!
